The purpose of this build is to Whirlwind for DAYS, leaving vicious tornadoes in your path (which are increased in damage due to the Wastes set), keeping your Wrath of the Berserker maintained (for huge damage and mobility increased, not being able to be snared = WIN), as well as being an absolute TANK (Wastes set gives 40% damage reduction while whirlwinding!)įor Legendary Gems, Esoteric Alteration offers massive damage reduction, but I prefer Bane of the Trapped after some testing (you really need the damage at high GR levels), Taeguk offers damage & damage reduction simaltaneously (and spamming Whirlwind = 100% uptime on the buff), and Pain Enhancer has a bleed effect that is enhanced by Physical% DMG, as well as increasing attack speed which = MORE TORNADOES! Reapers Wraps are MANDATORY, since using the Swords to Ploughshares rune will spawn many health globes, keeping our Whirlwind uptime permanent and our health regeneration at top levels. you're going to have a bad time at higher GR levels! (This is of course using the Follower Cannot Die Legendary Follower Item) Without Royal Ring, you will not be able to achieve the 6pc Wastes/4pc Immortal King set bonuses simultaneously. Royal Ring of Grandeur is a MUST for the build, as is Unity for solo play.
